(Historic OB) At the end of the day in the Service Park they said...

Zsolt Kalapács (Opel Kadett C Coupe):
"The team started me on the first fast track, if I "buzz" this, they will beat me, so I hurried, that was fine, we came in seventh time. I also tried to go relatively fast on the second, although I don't like that track. I got really sick in the car in the middle, and at the end I could hardly get out. They resuscitated a little there. It suddenly got very hot, the window also closed, I couldn't open it, I couldn't breathe. Then I pulled myself together for the second round, we did a little worse than the previous one, the important thing was to bring the paripa in today."
Roland Müller (Lada VAZ 2101 Gr2):
"It was very hot, otherwise everything was fine, we went carefully, we feel good, that's why we came. There are friends everywhere, nothing extra. We're a little tired, that's enough for today."
Bálint Kreicsi (BMW 320 – KÉPÜNKÖN):
"It wasn't easy. In the tenth corner of the first high-speed, we already had a technical problem. As it turned out, the carburetor was leaking somewhere, the engine was constantly humming, because of this the brakes also went out, because the car had to be braked all the time. It went even when we didn't want it, it was very difficult and caused complete uncertainty, but we got down. On the second one, even the gas stuck, then we drove on floor gas, we left the return spring somewhere, it could have flown somewhere. We gained four or five minutes on the stage, so all our chances and hopes were gone, but at least we didn't fall out of the race. Here in the service center, the problem was almost solved, but now it doesn't sound like it should either. The brake oil boiled, but there was no time to bleed it, so with a lot of problems, we managed the second lap somehow. Now we can hopefully fix the brakes at the service station, and then we'll see what happens with the other things. We're also happy that we didn't get relegated, that's also something. Nothing works out the way we want, but it could be worse."
László Mekler, Zoltán Sárdi (Alfa GTV):
"We drove quite well, but the tracks were horrible, very gravelly. Many of the foreigners also complained about this. We survived today, which we are very happy about, and we will push tomorrow, there will be good tracks tomorrow."
