jobb lett volna ott kicser\u00e9lni \u00e9s kik\u00e9sni, sokkal kevesebb lett volna az id\u0151vesztes\u00e9g\u00fcnk. De
megpr\u00f3b\u00e1lkoztunk vele, neh\u00e9z is volt eld\u00f6nteni, hogy er\u0151ltessem-e vagy ne. Gondoltam, hogy
\u00fagysem fogja kib\u00edrni, de sajnos m\u00e1r a harmadik kanyarban lefordult a gumi. Sajnos a
t\u00f6bbieken m\u00e1r nem tudunk ennyit hozni, pr\u00f3b\u00e1lunk j\u00f3 temp\u00f3ban aut\u00f3zni \u00e9s j\u00f3l \u00e9rezni

T\u00f3th Tibor: <\/strong>\u201eR\u00e9gen volt m\u00e1r ilyen csata. A navig\u00e1torom mondja is, mintha magamra
tal\u00e1ltam volna \u00fajra. Izgalmas lesz a v\u00e9ge. A k\u00f6vetkez\u0151 k\u00f6rben a m\u00e1sodik gyorsra nem fogom

De\u00e1k Attila: <\/strong>\u201eSajnos tegnap az egyik gyorson hib\u00e1ztunk \u00e9s ezzel szoross\u00e1 tett\u00fck a
verseny\u00fcnket. De nagyon \u00e9lvezz\u00fck, mert a megszokott h\u00e1rmas-n\u00e9gyes\u00fcnkkel tizedeket adunk
egym\u00e1snak minden gyorson. M\u00e9g van k\u00e9t k\u00f6r\u00fcnk, pr\u00f3b\u00e1lkozunk. Az aut\u00f3 t\u00f6k\u00e9letes, jobban
kell nyomni a g\u00e1zt, eddig minden kerek.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Statements after Saturday\u2019s first round<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferenc Vincze: <\/strong>\u201cEverything\u2019s fine. This is a tough race, but I only have to compete against myself. The car, the stages, my co-driver, and the team are all working well. I\u2019m trying to focus on the positives. We\u2019ve made some good observations, we\u2019re making adjustments to the car, we\u2019re glad we came, and we\u2019ve already learned a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R\u00f3bert B\u00fator: <\/strong>\u201cThis lap was really good. Kisvaszar went exceptionally well, even though that\u2019s what I was most worried about, while \u00c1rp\u00e1dtet\u0151 was a bit worse than I expected. Working with Fanni is fantastic; she\u2019s very skilled. I\u2019ll be handing her her diploma soon, because she\u2019s a professional navigator and ready for serious tasks. The brakes were perfect this time; nothing held me back. \u201cI\u2019m sure I could push myself harder and go faster, but we\u2019re doing well at this level right now. I\u2019m so focused on the road and navigation that, unfortunately, I don\u2019t really see the fans lining the track, but wherever there was a chance to put on a good show, I didn\u2019t hold back\u2014but that\u2019s all I can do right now.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Martin L\u00e1szl\u00f3:<\/strong> \u201cWe feel great in the car; both our spirits and the car are in much better
shape. The middle special stage would have gone well too, but halfway through I thought we
had a flat tire, so I slowed down a lot and we lost quite a few seconds. But we\u2019re moving
forward. In many places, it\u2019s good to be on home turf, but in many others, I prefer to rely
solely on my route notes rather than on the fact that, unfortunately, I know the course. But
obviously, it\u2019s good to be in a familiar environment. We\u2019ll fine-tune the car a bit more for the
next stage and try to go just as fast.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


P\u00e9ter Osv\u00e1th:<\/strong> \u201cThe problem was that we had a flat tire even before the start. Looking back, it
would have been better to change it there and start from the back; we would have lost much
less time that way. But we gave it a try\u2014it was a tough call whether to push through or not. I
thought it wouldn\u2019t hold out anyway, but unfortunately the tire blew out in the third corner.
Unfortunately, we can\u2019t make up that much time on the others now; we\u2019ll try to drive at a
good pace and enjoy ourselves for the rest of the race. We\u2019ll do everything we can to improve
a little, but it\u2019s going to be tough.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


J\u00f3zsef Trencs\u00e9nyi:<\/strong> \u201cThe battle with Tibi T\u00f3th and his team is still going on, both yesterday
and today. He knows the tracks, I know them, the cars are identical, and we both know the
settings\u2014it all comes down to the finer details. We\u2019re still making some adjustments to shave
off that extra second or two, stepping a little outside our comfort zone.\u201d
Antal Kov\u00e1cs: \u201cThe Mecsek bogeyman caught up with us again. We got a flat tire in the third
corner at Als\u00f3mocsol\u00e1d; we managed to finish the race, but we lost over a minute there. From
here on out, it\u2019s just for fun. I\u2019m sorry, because we posted good times on the first and third
stages, but that\u2019s just how it goes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Patrik Herczig:<\/strong> \u201cWe\u2019re happy to be in the running. We took it easy in the first lap; I didn\u2019t
want to push too hard right from the start and make a mistake. We checked all the speed
sectors to see if the data we had in mind was accurate, and everything worked out pretty well.
I still need to pull myself together a bit; we\u2019ll make some adjustments to the car in the service
area and try to pick up the pace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Tibor T\u00f3th:<\/strong> \u201cIt\u2019s been a long time since we\u2019ve had a battle like this. My co-driver even says
it\u2019s as if I\u2019ve rediscovered myself. It\u2019s going to be an exciting finish. On the second special
stage of the next loop, I won\u2019t be easing off the gas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Attila De\u00e1k: <\/strong>\u201cUnfortunately, we made a mistake on one of the special stages yesterday,
which made the race a close one. But we\u2019re really enjoying it, because with our usual trio or
quartet, we\u2019re battling it out for tenths of a second on every special stage. We still have two
laps to go, so we\u2019ll keep trying. The car is perfect; we just need to push the gas harder. So far,
everything\u2019s going smoothly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
