The pair Jan Kopecky\/Jan Hlousek won the \u00d3zd-Eger Rally after overtaking Andr\u00e1s Hadik\/Kriszti\u00e1n Kert\u00e9sz in the last high-speed stage of the race. Mikl\u00f3s Csom\u00f3s and Attila Nagy finished in third place.<\/h4>

The weather made the second race of the championship unpredictable. On the first day, Hadik, Kopecky, Tur\u00e1n, Ostberg battled at the front, but surprisingly Mikl\u00f3s Csom\u00f3s was also there in the wake of the greats. Ostberg was already having engine problems, the others were struggling with the right tire choice. The closeness of the competition is clearly shown by the fact that Kopecky was only 9 tenths of a second behind the leader Hadik, and the disadvantage of the Tur\u00e1ns, who won the four stages, was only 3.3 seconds. The last sprint of the day was a stage for most of the field, Patrik Herczig fell heavily in the pouring rain.<\/p>

On Sunday, the Tur\u00e1ns started really hard, maybe too much, because they slid off the road in the ninth gear, the car sat down and that meant the end of their race. The leading group of the race was split into two couples, the Hadik\/Kert\u00e9sz duo tried to maintain their advantage over the Kopeckys, and Ostberg, who was still complaining of an engine failure, was chased by the Csom\u00f3s Mixi. Csom\u00f3s\u00e9s finally took the third place in the 13th speed.<\/p>

The battle at the front continued until the end, but Kopecky's routine was decisive. The WRC2 world champion turned a 3.8 second deficit into a 2 second lead to win the race. At the end, he sportily admitted that it was not an easy task, because the Hungarian competitors compete at a very high level. Kopecky's success also required Hungarian knowledge, as the winner's car is prepared by the TOPP-Cars Rally Team from Szentl\u0151rinc.<\/p>

The RC4 category was won by G\u00e1bor N\u00e9met\/Tam\u00e1s Sz\u0151ke, ahead of Bendeg\u00faz Hangodi and L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Bunkoczi. In Rally2 jr. Attila Fogarasi and P\u00e9ter Toloczk\u00f3 were the first.<\/p>
