So far this year, I have competed in one race, the Rally Hungary, which was another challenge for me. My plan was to challenge ourselves a bit after a long absence from the real competition, which unfortunately, to be honest, didn't work out the way I thought it would. I was expecting a better result and a better atmosphere, but that didn't happen. I probably overstressed it a little bit and wanted to achieve a better result than what was included in this package that we were able to put together, and that had quite a negative effect on me. Actually, we couldn't even drive at our own pace, in our own style, we made mistakes, the speed wasn't enough either, I actually didn't feel as good during the whole event as I should have. This year did not start well. I drew several conclusions from this, one of which is that I don't have to push myself to drive in the front, especially not an EC front-runner - maybe not even a Hungarian one - this WRC \"hobbyism\", which I invented a few years ago, is good. It was probably not a coincidence that I chose this then and now, that we dropped back into the competition a little bit, we saw and felt the difference between our driving so far and the tension in Rally Hungary. Regardless, I still have doubts, which makes me think that maybe we will try again, because I think there is much more to them than that, but for some reason it didn't work out. I would add that this would also be more of a proof to myself that everything could not have gone that way. If that were the case, then we wouldn't be able to go normally with the WRC either, so I think there were several reasons why it didn't work out, not only that I'm not the same, but of course that could also be a factor. You have to accept that people get old and young people are very brave and fast. We'll see if we jump at it again next year, or if we really have to give up driving against the stopwatch and fighting against the European leaders once and for all. This must be accepted, although it was not easy to face it. The 12-14. times are not great stories, even if it was not so terrible in the Hungarian field. We were in second, third, fourth place, which is not bad, especially since I go to two or three races a year, at 50 years old. But inside, I expected more and better. This caused approx. two weeks of suffering after the competition, but life goes on, things need to be put right, there are goals, there are projects that need to be pushed.<\/p>

As usual, I'm really looking forward to the Mecsek, the final finishing touches are underway, everything is fine, except that we haven't been able to solve the asphalt shifter since last year in Gy\u0151r, when it broke during the test. That's why we're going again with a gravel set, gravel shifter and diff, but at least I now know how it works, since that's how we completed the first day in Gy\u0151r. It won't be as surprising as what there is, that you have to try on the first speed to see if you can go with it at all. We will have one more test before the race, 50-60 kilometers, where we will refine the setups for this, and then I will have to recover, since the last time I was in the car was at the Santa Claus Rally, which was seven months ago, in Gy\u0151r, on asphalt last September . But I'm really looking forward to it, I like the pitches in Meszcz, I like that atmosphere, I'm looking forward to working with my team, because we didn't go with my own team in Veszpr\u00e9m and I really missed my people and the usual atmosphere.
