The Historic field started the first round with great enthusiasm, but as the temperature eased, the competitors calmed down a bit, so they were less adventurous at the beginning of the second round.
In the ifj. Érdi, Csökő on the other hand, he thoroughly absorbed himself in the double, working off a 34.7-second deficit during the two fast ones. In the second round, on the long-week stage, the pair went 40 seconds better than themselves, and with this acceleration they took the lead after the four fast stages.
Behind Érdi, the duo Zippo and Piceno secured the momentary second place in the overall evaluation with a second and a third time. The Finnish couple Silvasti and Pietilainen were pushed back to the bottom of Friday's podium.
