Alongside the defending European champion and several multiple-time Hungarian champions, a number of local rally heroes have also entered the Historic event of the 58th Mecsek Rallye.
The international field of the FIA Central European Zone, Mitropa Rally Cup, and HUMDA Historic Rally Championship will face 11 special stages, covering a total of 139 competitive kilometers in the Mecsek Hills. Let us be clear: this is not a leisurely summer drive with "model cars" — we’re in for pure, hard-fought competition from the 39 registered Historic crews! Among the fascinating cars on the start list, fans can look forward to seeing 16 Ladas and the rally's only Trabant tackle the Mecsek roads.
