The names of nine racing pairs were on the start list of the 55th Fenstherm Kontakt Mecsek Rallye Mitropa Rallye Cup, seven of which rolled into the service park at the end of the day.

All three stages of the podium were taken by the Škodas, leaving behind the Mitsubishis, the Fords and an Opel.

The most successful duo on Friday was László and Berendi, with three speed wins. At the beginning of the day, the Lászlós sent Klausz and Csányi (PICTURED), who were struggling with serious technical problems, and the slowly "awakening" Osváth and Papp behind them.
