Rallye1 declarations after the seventh stage
After seven sprints, Mads Ostberg leads the Mecsek Rallye, 27.9 seconds ahead of Róbert Bútor. The third Grzyb's disadvantage is 31.3 seconds. András Hadik is fourth, he is 3.4 seconds behind Grzyb. Frigyesés Turán are fifth, if they want to advance, they must be 11.8 seconds faster than Hadikés in the last three speeds.
In the RC4 category, unfortunately, the battle in Baranya ended, Gergő Szauer was still leading by 6.3 seconds ahead of Rangá at the end of the sixth rapid, but they hit the car, and then the Peugeot started to have two cylinders, and they lost a lot with that, it was even doubtful if they could continue the race. after service.
This is how the drivers assessed themselves after Saturday's second round at the Expo Center:
Mads Ostberg-Torstein Eriksen (Citroen C3 Rally2): The Zóbákpuszta track is getting steeper. We are starting to get to know the speed sections, the road is almost completely dry, which also contributes to our increasingly better results. I feel we are doing well, we are prepared for the last three stages!
Grzegorz Grzyb-Kamil Kozdron (Skoda Fabia Rally2 EVO): This lap was better, we were able to accelerate, our time was in the top three. I hope we will be even faster in the last round! We only had a problem with Zobák, that in some places it is more difficult to apply fast and you have to pay more attention. It will be difficult to catch up with Bútor Robi in second place, but we will not give up!
Krisztián András-Kertész Hadik (Ford Fiesta R5 MKII): The car worked well now, I couldn't go faster. Maybe it was because I was a little smarter about it and we went with two spare wheels, which is why we were slower. We are now third, but there are still three speed bumps.
Velenczei Ádám-Bacigal Igor (Skoda Fabia R5 EVO): This lap was better, it was better to go with the car, but our pace could still be improved. We really can't get ahead in the evaluation, we don't want to take risks, we have to reach the goal.
Jr. Annamária Ranga László-Budai (Peugeot 208 Rally4): Árpádtetó was very good, we gave three tenths to the Gergős, but at Kisvaszar they pulled in and we got quite a lot. There, I was like, I don't want to force this, I felt that it would depend on a hair's breadth that we wouldn't fall. After that, they hit the car, they let us go on the fast track and that was the end of the battle between the two of us. I'm sorry, because it doesn't feel so good to win like that, second place in a big game would have been better!
Tamás Német Gábor-Szőke (Peugeot 208 Rally4): We have had a mixed day so far. Someone fell in front of us, we had to stop and call an ambulance. There, we will get an average time, which may not be good for you. We also had a crash, as a wake-up call in the morning. The ending was good, we finally enjoyed it. By the way, we thought we had a puncture on Alsómocsolád, but luckily we only hit a sand dune. But there are still three speed races left and we have already learned that the end is at the end!
Róbert Bútor-Tagai Róbert (Citroen C3 WRC): Our racing will get better and better, and what is especially pleasing is that the Pécsvárad stage was the best, which is the most difficult stage. Now we finally rallied in Pécsvárad, it had a feeling, it was a clean, collected and precise performance. I don't necessarily think it's good because of the time result, but because of the feeling! I'm getting used to the car, now even on Árpádtetto I prefer to drive, and not the car. I'm constantly learning, I'm just starting to pick up the driving technique details that I need to be able to go faster. I hope we continue like this!
