Tibor Markó, head of sports, representing the Organising Committee, personally visited the pilot recovering in the 400-bed clinic in Pécs. As he himself briefly summarised the situation, he is doing well under the circumstances and thanks everyone who thought of him and sent him good wishes.

According to the medical summary, Csaba Viszló’s condition was also serious, he suffered internal injuries, damaged ribs and several bones, and required corrective surgery, but his condition is satisfactory.

His navigator, Gábor Patkó, as we have already reported, was more fortunate to escape the accident with bruises.

We wish them both a speedy recovery!
