Attila Notheisz: „It is an honour to drive such a car”

Attila Notheisz will drive a car with a paint scheme in front of the Historic field that not only the people of Pécs, but all real rally lovers will remember with pleasure. László Ranga and Ernő Büki with their legendary Lancia Delta HF Integrale were an indispensable feature of the races of the ’90s. Although this car is not, the memories are still the same.

„As a local, I’ve known the race since I was a kid. But we have to realise that we are children of a bygone era, and so is our car. To imagine my situation now is like stepping onto the track in Maradona’s shoes in his home country. It isn’t a small task, but I’ve come to terms with it, and it’s an honour to be able to drive in the decor of Laci Ranga’s car on the Mecsek and try to please everyone who remembers him, and of course myself.”
