The 54th Mecsek Rally is waiting for the spectators!

The 54th Mecsek Rally can be held with the participation of spectators in accordance with the current government regulations. Although there are more than six weeks left until the race, those who really want to attend as a spectator should have valid vaccination certificate by the prior arriving.
According to Government legislation 194/2021. (IV. 26.), people protected against the coronavirus as well as people under the age of 18 with their supervision may attend sports events as spectators.
Government announcement held on 6th May stated that those without protection would certainly remain under restrictions due to the coronavirus epidemic until August.
Attending the 54th Mecsek Rally is free, however based on the above information pre-requisite will be the vaccination certificate, therefore the event’s organising committee recommends that all fans should be vaccinated in on time. Those who already have vaccination certificate should check the expiration date to ensure it is valid for the duration of the event.
The organising committee will keep the fans informed regarding the detailed rules for spectator attendance. Prior the 54th Mecsek Rally, there will be two more national championship events, where spectators can also be present, and the WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal will also be available. During the development of the 54th Mecsek Rally’s rules, the organiser will take into account the best practice developed during prior events. In addition, the 54th Mecsek Rallye will reflect the latest in both government regulation and legislation, as well as any recommendation from the FIA and the ASN, which will be reflected in the final COVID protocols.
